Experience the pinnacle of high-temperature insulation with our Insulating Fire Bricks - Grade 30. These premium bricks are engineered to withstand extreme temperatures up to 1650°C / 3000°F, making them the ideal choice for the most demanding thermal environments.

Key Features

  • High-Temperature Resistance: With an impressive tolerance of up to 1650°C / 3000°F, insulation bricks provide exceptional performance in extreme conditions.
  • Lightweight and Porous Structure: Manufactured using an advanced method that creates a lightweight, porous structure, insulating bricks are perfect for applications where minimising energy waste is crucial.
  • Density: Featuring a density of 1000 kg/m³, these bricks offer optimal insulation properties without compromising on strength.
  • High-End Composition: Manufactured from high-quality refractory materials to ensure durability and longevity.
  • Dimensions: 230mm x 114mm x 76mm (9 x 4.5 x 3 inches)

Recommended Setting Material: For the best results, use Vitset 45 Refractory Mortar when setting Grade 30 insulation firebricks.

For applications requiring higher temperatures, use Vitset 80 or Vitset 90 Refractory Mortar resistant to 1860°C / 3380°F.

Applications

Primary Hot Face Linings:

  • Industrial Kilns: Essential for maintaining consistent temperatures in ceramic and industrial kilns, ensuring optimal firing conditions and energy efficiency.
  • Forges: Ideal for blacksmiths and metalworkers who require high heat resistance with minimal heat retention to improve energy efficiency and working conditions.
  • Annealing Kilns: Perfect for processes involving the slow cooling of metals and glass, providing superior insulation and temperature control.

Back-Up Insulation:

  • Kilns and Furnaces: Serve as secondary insulation to enhance the overall thermal efficiency and stability of various kilns and furnaces.
  • Hot Blast Furnaces: Ensure efficient operation of hot blast furnaces by providing reliable insulation, reducing heat loss, and improving energy efficiency.
  • Flue Insulation: Perfect for insulating flue systems, these bricks help maintain high temperatures and prevent heat loss, optimising energy use and performance.
