VITCAS Castable Refractory tolerates extreme heat up to 1700°C (3090°F), making it ideal for a range of industrial applications such as furnace linings and lining barrels, as well as a great choice for home foundry projects including lining metal drums to create small-scale crucible furnaces. Its high-temperature tolerance makes it suitable even for melting cast iron. Its unique formulation ensures excellent resistance to abrasion, erosion, and chemical attacks, guaranteeing long-lasting durability.

Instructions for Use:
- Prepare the area: Ensure the surface is clean and dry.
- Mixing: Pour the dry refractory mix into a clean container. Gradually add 2 litres of water per 25 kg bucket.
- Consistency: Mix thoroughly to achieve a smooth, workable consistency-neither too runny nor too thick.
- Application: Use a trowel or formwork (such as a plastic pipe) to shape and apply the mixture as needed.
- Drying: Allow the mixture to air dry for 24-48 hours, depending on thickness and ambient conditions.
- Final Steps: Once dried, carefully remove any formwork or shuttering, if used.
